actually, i cannot even compile the example bootloaders as i cannot compile for space, i use the "lite" version). The linker files are the ones from the example projects and work just fine _when_ using mplab (not X. the projects are identical (configuration bits, just everything) except for the output (bootloader 0 vs bootloader 1 on UART) and the fact that the latter doesn't try to jump anywhere (application is not included yet). To try it out, i created two very basic projects where the first one just tries to jump to the second bootloader. The first bootloader resides in the boot flash, the second one in the program flash (the actual application too). I am currently working on a project (pic32) that needs 2-stage bootloading.
